Pack up, Flipboard, Yosemite national park

Yesterday was crammed with activity so I had no opportunity to write. It actually started with a late night poker game at Flipboard the day before. About 20 Flipboard employees were present to try their luck. It got late and afterwards a couple of us went for drink in a bar. According to Arthur this is the place to be for the next generation of start-ups.
The next morning at 9 o clock Mark and Geert had a Skype session to discuss their progress with their teacher. After that we took their beds and chairs apart for transport to the storage facility. They went to Flipboard for their goodbye lunch. After that we took the stuff to the storage. Afterwards we went to Flipboard. This is where Geert is going to a friend in New York and we start our wild west round trip. Mark and I took good old El Blufo to his owner, Bob. We went home in our Nissan Altima 2.5 liter luxury car.
With out the beds we where forced to sleep on the carped which was uncomfortable to say the least. The next morning we left at about 10:15 to our first stop, Mariposa - Yosemite. We arrived at the hotel at 13:00, the room was ready so we checked in. We had time enough left to go see Yosemite valley.
The valley is carved by one or more glaciers in ancient times to a depth of more than a half mile. Driving and walking among these cliffs carved by huge forces makes a person feel very small.
We'll put some photos on the site. Tomorrow we will pass through Yosemite park again to see the great sequoia trees an then sleep in Fresno.

Ziet er prachtig uit! Zal voor Mark wel even wennen zijn, het idee een tijd niet meer bij fliboard te komen. Geniet maar van het wilde westen en tot snel! -
