Zion & Bryce canyon

We left Las Vegas for a relativity short drive to Cedar City. On our way there we visited Zion canyon. Entering at the south entrance, you drive along the canyon floor. After a steep climb with lots of hairpin curves, we stopped for a hike. We saw some bighorn mountain goats and navigated steep cliffs along the hike.
Cedar City experienced unusual winter conditions the day before so the mountains were covered with snow.
Next day we went for a hike in Bryce canyon. Again a totally different kind off canyon. We took a pretty strenuous hike down into the canyon. The hoodoos (rocky columns) are enormous and make one feel very small.
We drove back to Cedar city on a different route. Nice scenery and kind of desolate, but a road full of nature.
